We contacted Four Shires Home Improvements of Banbury because we wanted to revamp three rooms; our bathroom, en-suite and downstairs toilet.  Despite being highly in demand, Nick viewed the rooms and gave very good advice with potential options and left a number of booklets for us to review.  Being an expert tradesman with an eye for detail, he provided invaluable advice on colour schemes and final choices of fittings.

We weren’t in any rush to get the job completed and were prepared to wait for Nick as we’d heard many good reviews on the quality of his and his team’s workmanship from many friends.

Once the decision to go ahead was made, he co-ordinated all the other tradesmen and resources needed for the tasks.

Having started on the bathroom he completely revamped the whole room, taking out all the old fixtures and stripping it to the bare walls. He then rebuilt the room (new stud walls, straightening the walls) and revamped it into a fantastic space which would grace a top quality hotel complete with downlights and great fittings!

The en-suite and downstairs toilet were also processed with exactly the same quality and attention to detail.  His workmanship is second to none.   Timekeeping was excellent and he cleaned up as he went every day.

Final Question: am I pleased with the result? YES – Fantastic job!  The pictures say it all!

We have known Nick at Four Shires in Banbury for the last four years and have asked him to do many jobs for us. We have always found his work to be of the highest standard and we love the fact that we can leave our keys with him while we are at work as he is totally trustworthy. We would not go anywhere else when we need a job doing.  Nick has proved to be able to tackle almost any job or, if not, he knows a man who can.

Nick at Four Shires Home Improvements in Banbury has worked for us on a number of projects now and we have always been very impressed with his workmanship and attention to detail.  No job is too small and he goes that extra mile to ensure you are entirely satisfied.   Tiling is a skill that demands a high level of planning prior to delivery to ensure a good result, and Nick has been excellent in this area.  He works quickly and efficiently and is very personable and comes up with solutions as opposed to presenting you with problems.   We will certainly be using him again for any future projects we may have.
